Anthony Wayne Burk, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:15 PM. He was born on November 29, 1943, to Brefred and Dorothy (French) Burk in Fort Worth, Texas. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Kathy Penn, and brother Kevin Burk.
Anthony proudly served in the United States Army Reserves and spent his professional career as a computer drafter. He was known for his quiet strength, steady work ethic, and deep appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and music.
In his free time, Anthony enjoyed gardening, researching genealogy, and listening to music—especially the timeless songs of his favorite artist, Bob Dylan. Anthony enjoyed meditation, reading Shakespeare, and the Bible. He was a pet lover and sentimental about antiques and old photographs. He also had a lifelong passion for classic automobiles and motorcycles, valuing both their design and the stories behind them.
Anthony is survived by his sister, Lori Burk Franks, and her husband, Skip; his daughter, Jennifer Madison, and her husband, Carl; as well as his son, Cody Burk. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Jessica Martin and her husband, Dustin; Caleb Burk and his wife, Anna; Jacob Burk and his wife, Maitlynn; and Grant Burk. He was a proud great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren.
Anthony will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his thoughtful nature, and the quiet ways in which he showed his love. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
