Listen to Obituary

Ann Nell (Alexander) Moyer, 93, of Paradise, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 4, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

Ann was born on June 22, 1933, in Wellington, Texas, to Alfred D. Alexander and Willie (Graham) Alexander. She was the eleventh of twelve children, growing up in a large family that taught her the importance of faith, hard work, and loving others well. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Moyer; her parents; and ten of her siblings.

She is survived by her children, Jim Moyer and wife Della, Brenda Clements, and Carleen Rogers and husband Raymie; her cherished brother, Bill Alexander, with whom she shared a lifelong close bond; her grandchildren, Angela (Kenny), Nikki (Timber), Kaitlyn, Keaton (Taylor), Brandi (Nick), and Maisie (Will); and her treasured great-grandchildren, Brienne, Kyra, Riley, Corbin, Hayden, Quinlan, Emerson, Trinity, Clarity, Anniston, Makenna, Serenity, Sirus, Kovax, Rezi, Makia, Archer, and Lincoln and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, dear friends, and many "adopted" children who found a place in her heart and at her table.

To know Ann was to know hospitality. She had a remarkable gift for making every person who crossed her doorstep feel like family. Her home was a place of laughter, full plates, open arms, and conversations that often lingered long after the meal was over. Friends of her children quickly became her own, and many found a second home around in her presence. If you were hungry, lonely, celebrating, or simply passing through, Ann made sure you left feeling loved.

She was, above all, devoted to her family. While she would never have sought recognition for it, she built a lifetime of memories through everyday acts of love—home-cooked meals, holiday gatherings, birthday and celebrations that define a life well lived. She was the heart of her home and every party.

Ann's faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was a longtime member of Barrett Baptist Church in Pampa before moving to Paradise, where she and Bobby faithfully attended Balsora Baptist Church. There she formed treasured friendships and continued doing what she did best—welcoming others, encouraging those around her, and bringing people together. Even in her nineties, her joyful spirit never faded. Just two years ago, she hosted a slumber party for the women of her church, proving that you're never too old to laugh, stay up too late, and make wonderful memories with friends.

Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are profoundly grateful for the example she set. Her legacy is not found in material things, but in the lives she touched.

Well done, good and faithful servant. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.
