Joe Alston

NEWARK -- Joe Harper Alston, 76, a loving and faithful husband, father and grandfather passed away, Monday, July 18, 2016 in Fort Worth. Joe was born February 15, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joe Edward and Opal Thompson Alston. They both preceded him in death along with a brother, Ron Alston. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newark and served in the Air National Guard. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years Jean Alston; daughters, Cynthia Mosley and husband, Darrel and Deborah Wills and husband, Ron; grandchildren, Brandon, Allen, Nick and Taylor; and great grandchildren, Ramona, Beckett, Olivia and Mia all of whom will miss him dearly.
