Born on February 18, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, Albert lived a life marked by dedication, love, and a profound commitment to those around him.

Albert’s journey began in Fort Worth and blossomed through years of hard work and devotion. He graduated from Springtown High School, laying the foundation for a life of accomplishment and service. Albert proudly served in the United States Air Force, embodying a deep sense of duty and patriotism. Following his military service, he contributed his talents to a long and distinguished career in aerospace engineering, a field in which his expertise and passion left a lasting impact.

Beyond his professional achievements, Albert was a man of unwavering faith. He was a true man of God whose love manifested through caring for others and teaching Sunday School. Albert’s heart was fullest when surrounded by loved ones. He cherished his time with family, nurturing bonds that spanned generations. He is survived by his devoted son, Alex Hewitt, and Alex’s wife, Jeana; his beloved daughter, Delanna Pyle, and her husband, Sean; cherished grandchildren—Shelby, Emma, Allee, Gabriel, Gavin, Ella, Samuel, and Garrison; and his great-grandchildren—Henry, Jacob, Benjamin, Cameron, Selah, Theodore, and one precious little one on the way. Albert’s siblings, Ella Smith, Larry Hewitt, and Joyce Fitzgerald, carry forward his legacy of love and kindness.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Ralph Hewitt Sr. and Pattie Marie (Lewis) Hewitt, whose memory he honored throughout his life.

Though Albert Ralph Hewitt Sr. has left this earthly realm, his spirit endures in the hearts of those who loved him. His legacy of devotion, faith, and boundless love remains an inspiration—a reminder of a life truly well-lived, a life that forever blesses those left behind.
