Garrett Grant Ordway, 62, went home to be with the Lord and his loving wife Marge on August 11, 2008, in Arlington. Gary was born July 19, 1946 in Elmira, N.Y., to Genevieve Dunnegan and Joseph Ordway. He went to School in Pine Bush, N.Y. He served our country and was a decorated soldier in the Vietnam War. He married Jane Papini in 1969; they were married for 15 years and had two daughters; Melissa and Micah, and a son Garrett. In 1985 he married Margaret Hollenback and remained her loving husband until her passing in July of 2006. They were 20 year residents of Arlington. He was a true cowboy at heart and will be remembered to love his Stetson hats, boots and customer belt buckles. Marge had four children and many grandchildren, all of which he thought of and loved as his own. Gary was a man who loved his children and grandchildren deeply. He loved to have fun and laugh with those he cared about. He was known to his family and friends as a big tease, often saying "if I tease you it's because I like you, if I don't, I just won't bother". He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. We loved him dearly and will take us time to adjust to the loss of him in our lives. We rest in the knowledge that he is in Heaven and at peace now; and that we will one day join him at Our Father's banquet table where we will be together for all eternity.
