Jessie Mae Price

April 3, 1930 — August 26, 2008

Jessie Price. 78, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was welcomed home by her Lord and her husband Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Jessie was born April 3, 1930, in English to Verner and Minnie McPeak. In 1947, she married Archie W. Price Sr.; he preceded her in death in 2005. Jessie worked for Arlington Independent School District as a food service manager and retired after 18 years of dedicated service. She loved to cook and, most of all, work in her garden, sharing the fruit of her labors with neighbors and friends. Jessie was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed her friendships that she had, the last year at her residence at Eden Terrace. She will be missed by all who knew her.
