Wilbur "Smitty" Smith

W.A. "Smitty" Smith, 75, lost his battle with cancer on Friday, March, 27, 2009. Smitty was born in Kansas City, MO on May 31, 1933. Smitty was an avid NASCAR fan who enjoyed watching and attending races. He also loved spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered as a faithful servant of the Lord and his community. Smitty could be found many days helping local youth tend their animals at agricultural events. Smitty was in the United States Army and spent his tour of duty in Korea, Japan, and China. He was a known perfectionist at his trade, tile contracting and worked until days before his death. Smitty was a member of the Towne North Baptist Church in Denton, Texas.
