Frank was a longtime resident of Seattle, Wash., before recently moving to Fort Worth in December 2007 to be with his family, after being diagnosed with cancer. He was born July 9, 1914, in Chisholm, Minn. Frank was a gifted athlete. He graduated from Carleton College in 1937 and was a starting forward for the basketball team. He also lettered in football and track for Carleton. After graduating he served in the Air Force and then went on to become station manager of Northwest Airlines in Honolulu, Hawaii. Then moving his family to Portland, and finally settling in Seattle, Wash. Frank worked for many years for Boeing Company and then finally retired in 1986 from the state of Washington Department of Labor and Industries.
