Our amazing God blessed us with Sam, our only son and second child of three. At the age of five, Sam was intrigued by puzzles. He would complete 500 piece puzzles, 3-D Star Wars and castle puzzles. Legos were the next challenge. Each birthday and Christmas list included some new model. Even more amazing to us, his childlike understanding of Christ, and accepting him as savior at age five. Sam attended church with family throughout his life. He was home schooled, attended private school and later graduated from Paschal High School. Although Sam participated in sports and Scouts, his focus was directed to music. He not only played trombone, some keyboard and percussion but his passion was guitar. He taught himself how to play, took private lessons to perfect his finger progression, and then he went on to playing in several bands. Like his dad, Sam enjoyed riding his Kawasaki, and sometimes like his youthful dad, testing its limits too! Sam worked in retail for most of his young adult years. Presently Sam was focusing on his education and did some tutoring at Tarrant County College. His professional interest included music, surgical technician and architecture. We remember him, many times reserved, with a great listening ear. We remember his flashing smile, his sense of humor, his presence- our beloved Samuel Edward Pearce.
